Dr. G. Suryanarayana
Dr. G. Suryanarayana serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Hyderabad Campus, under Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune. With a distinguished academic trajectory culminating in a Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) in 2019, he brings over 17 years of pedagogical acumen and 12 years of sustained research engagement. His scholarly repertoire encompasses 55 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals, authorship of three academic volumes and editorial contributions including the chapter “The Art of Drone Technology: Future Trends and Practical Applications.” A testament to his commitment to innovation and applied research, he holds six patents (both national and international) and two registered copyrights. Dr. Suryanarayana is a Senior Member of IEEE and IAENG and actively contributes to the global academic community as a peer reviewer for reputed international journals. He has mentored over 60 undergraduate and 10 postgraduate research projects and remains deeply invested in academic leadership, having played pivotal roles in curriculum development, academic governance and the strategic implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), flipped learning and experiential pedagogies. His research interests lie at the intersection of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics and he continually upskills through advanced certifications from premier platforms such as Coursera and NPTEL.
