Dr. Kranthi Kumar Singamaneni is currently serving as the Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Hyderabad Campus, Symbiosis International (Deemed University). In this leadership role, he actively contributes to academic planning, curriculum innovation, research development, industry collaboration, and student mentorship, strengthening the department’s focus on emerging technologies and industry readiness.
He is an accomplished academician and researcher in Computer Science and Engineering, with advanced specialization in Quantum Computing, Applied Cryptography, Secure Cloud and IoT Architectures, and AI/ML-driven Cybersecurity Systems. Dr. Singamaneni earned his Ph.D. in Quantum Computing and Applied Cryptography from GITAM Deemed to be University in 2020. He holds an M.Tech in Information Technology from JNTU Kakinada and an M.Tech in Computer Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
With over 18 years of experience spanning academia, research, and industry, he brings strong interdisciplinary expertise in post-quantum cryptography, AI-integrated privacy-preserving models, secure distributed systems, and intelligent cyber defense mechanisms. Industrial Experience
Dr. Singamaneni has worked as a Data Specialist at IBM India Pvt. Ltd., where he contributed to large-scale enterprise data warehousing and analytics solutions for TIAA-CREF, a Fortune 100 financial services organization in the United States. His responsibilities included training professionals in ETL design, UNIX systems, and data transformation techniques, developing secure and optimized ETL pipelines using tools such as IBM DataStage, Informatica, Oracle, Teradata, and AutoSys, and supporting business-critical operations including data cleansing, real-time data migration, and performance tuning.
Research Highlights
Dr. Singamaneni has published 35+ research papers in reputed Q1/Q2 SCI, SCIE, ESCI, and Scopus-indexed journals, with significant contributions to quantum-safe security frameworks, AI-enabled cybersecurity, and privacy-enhancing technologies. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief, Center of Cybersecurity (CoC), Center of Science, leading a peer-reviewed open-access journal that promotes high-quality research in cybersecurity, quantum cryptography, cyber threat intelligence, network security, and data privacy.
He is a co-author of the book “Quantum Computing Models for Cybersecurity and Wireless Communications” (Wiley–Scrivener, 2025) and holds 12 published patents in areas including AI-based cyber-attack detection, predictive maintenance for IoT, low-power communication protocols, smart healthcare systems, precision agriculture, and environmental pollution monitoring. His innovations address real-world challenges across technology, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.
Dr. Singamaneni has also served as a keynote speaker, reviewer, technical chair, and research mentor at numerous national and international conferences, contributing actively to academic leadership and research capacity building.
